Alpaca Beans

In a 2022 study done by the Szechenyi Istvan University in Hungary, alpaca manure, often referred to as beans or pellets, had been found to not burn the delicate roots of plants when directly applied without fermentation or aging like many commonly available manures such as cattle, horse, swine, sheep, goat, and poultry.

This is due to the naturally low nitrogen and phosphorus content found within alpaca manure year round, even when compared to llama manure.

Alpaca manure is a widely available, yet niche, fertilizer used in horticulture globally due to its universality, ease of collection, low odor, and gentleness on plant roots even in its raw form.
